Basic Troubleshooting for iPhone

Is GroupMe doing something totally weird on your iPhone?  Something it has never done before like freezing or not loading pictures? Are you pulling your hair out trying to figure out the problem?  Try these troubleshooting steps!

 

1. Check all global settings (gear icon in the left drawer) to make sure your preferences were not reset during a recent update 

2.  Make sure you are using the most up to date version of GroupMe

3. Force quit the app (double click home button to reveal row of apps, tap and hold app you want to quit, then press the red X)

4.  Log out and back in (don't worry, no groups will be lost) 

5. Delete and reinstall the app

6. Restart your phone
