Is GroupMe doing something totally weird on your iPhone? Something it has never done before? Are you pulling your hair out trying to figure out the problem? Try these troubleshooting steps!
1. Check all settings to make sure your preferences were not reset during a recent update
2. Make sure you are using the most up to date version of GroupMe
3. Log out of the app and then back in
4. Delete and reinstall the app
5. Restart your phone
