If the phone’s battery level is low, then the device will turn off notifications.
To determine battery level:
1. Go to Settings | Battery Saver
2. At bottom of screen you will see: battery info Remaining battery life: <percentage left>
I'm using the Windows Phone 8 version of the app, and I get notifications just fine, but a huge amount of the messages don't get sent via SMS (I have that activated). It's frustrating, because I prefer to use the SMS feature, but have to swap back and forth to the app often to make sure I didn't miss anything, or if I see a notification that I just plain know didn't get pushed. Is there a fix to this, or a known bug that's being worked on, at least? Thanks!
I'm using the Windows 8 phone with the GroupMe app. Since I downloaded GroupMe I have been able to do some group texting but I also notice that I'm missing a lot of texts. I'll see group text chains going on where I clearly am not getting a good percentage of the texts. These are chains that are happening outside of grouptext in my normal text window. Is there a setting in GroupMe that is affecting this? I may have to uninstall it if I can't figure it out. Is it related to whether I'm setup as SMS or something else in GroupMe? Please help!
Hi David, I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble. Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to make sure you have the most up to date version and to clear the cache from the app? Thanks! If you continue to run into problems, will you email firstname.lastname@example.org? We will be able to assist you faster. #)
