First, let's get your account set up.

To setup GroupMe with your primary cell phone number, follow the steps below.

• Log in using Facebook OR
• Enter your email address, tap continue
• Enter your name, set an avatar and select a password, press Done
• Make sure you have checked the Terms of Service and press continue
• Select Connect this phone
• Tap "Send" on the verification text message that pops up
• Once we receive the text (should only take a few moments), you are in! #)

To setup GroupMe using a different phone number (Google Voice or if you are using an iPad/iTouch), follow these steps: 

• Enter your email address, tap continue

• Enter your name, set an avatar and select a password, press Done
• Make sure you have checked the Terms of Service and press continue
• Tap Another Number, enter the phone number you want to connect and Continue
• Enter the PIN that is texted to the phone number you entered and hit Continue
• If you do not receive the PIN in about 5 minutes, tap Haven't received PIN?
• From here you can try to have the PIN sent again or opt to send us a text instead (this is the best option for iPads, Google Voice users, and iTouches) instructions are provided in app at this stage

After this you should be brought through a tutorial on how to use the app. The best way to learn is by doing, so make a group, invite some friends, and start chatting away!
