How do I start a group in GroupMe?

  1. In the Chats tab, select New conversation  New chat button.

  2. Select Start Group  Add members button, then enter the new group name and add a group avatar (profile picture), then select the arrow  Start group Next arrow button.

  3. To add members, type their name, email, or phone number, or scroll through your current GroupMe contacts.

  4. Select the checkmark  Done button to create your group.

  3. In the Add Members window, type the member's name, phone number, or email, or scroll through your current GroupMe contacts.

  4. Select Add member(s) to finish creating your group.
